Unexpected Emotion in Bagging Area.

I don’t know what it is I’m feeling but I’ve been feeling it a lot lately.

It pops up suddenly between moments of joy or contentment. It washes over me like a wave of grief when you remember someone you love is dead. It’s like constantly feeling as if you’re late for something. A sort of deep dread. Like when you’re on a car journey and realise you’ve forgotten something important. Or like you’re waiting for a phone call that you know will be bad news.
