The month of February has been a bit of an unlucky one for me.

It started with a flat tyre (the second this year) and honestly at this point it feels like the roads have a personal vendetta against me because it’s getting ridiculous how many flat tyres I’ve gotten within the past year. (Five. The answer is five flat tyres in the past year. That can’t be normal, can it?)

Next up, our oven unexpectedly went bang (mid-way through cooking my lunch might I add) and just decided it had had enough. To be honest, I can relate. This meant we had to fork out for a brand new oven which is now a bit of a nightmare to use and I’m missing our old oven.

And finally, my laptop broke (hence the radio silence).

We are incredibly privileged that we have been able to replace an oven, tyre AND laptop in the same month. I often feel guilty when I ‘complain’ about these seemingly insignificant things when there is far worse happening in the world, but maybe there can be space for both?
